HYFLEXPOWER has received the ‘Technology and Innovation’ COGEN Europe Recognition Award 2023, which distinguishes individuals and organisations for their achievements in developing, applying and promoting cogeneration.

The award acknowledges HYFLEXPOWER’s dedication to delivering solutions that  reduce carbon emissions and promote a greener future.

“Ambitious projects like HYFLEXPOWER, demonstrating an integrated power-to-H2-to-power real-world application, require taking partnerships to the next level and being united in a joint mission to make decarbonisation a reality. Hydrogen will be essential in the interaction between renewables and electricity storage and generation, with hydrogen-ready turbines playing a decisive role,” said HYFLEXPOWER Coordinator Ertan Yilmaz of Siemens Energy.

In addition, Harry Trump, of HYFLEXPOWER partner Centrax Gas Turbines, has received the COGEN Europe Lifetime Award for his active involvement in COGEN Europe over many years, and especially his contribution to the association’s advocacy efforts at EU level.
