One step forward for 100% green hydrogen power generation! The Siemens Energy electrolyzer has successfully arrived at the Smurfit-Kappa paper mill in Saillat-sur-Vienne (France). It’s the world’s first integrated hydrogen power-to-X-to-power demonstrator.
Following delivery of the electrolyser, the Centrax personnel proceeded to swapping the existing core engine for the one that will be used during the first demonstration campaign of the project. The main objective for this campaign is to prove the system capability of operation with modest ratios of hydrogen/natural gas blends.
